The Essor Program aims to improve the productivity of Quebec companies and help them become more competitive and resilient. 

The Productivity stream of the ESSOR program launched by Investissement Québec supports innovation and productivity in Quebec, so that companies can position themselves advantageously with major customers, diversify their markets and ensure their growth.

This program is accepting applications on a continuous intake basis, meaning you can apply anytime. We highly recommend you get in touch with us right away to maximize your chances of approval.

Funding Amount

• Loan with interest or, exceptionally, a non-repayable contribution.
• Minimum financial contribution of 20% from the company or a private institution.
• Maximum loan term: 10 years.
• Repayment moratorium (principal and interest) of maximum 5 years.
• Criteria for non-repayable contributions:
  • Project budget: minimum $10,000,000
  • Projects that stand out in terms of productivity.
  • Excludes all projects administered by Investissement Québec’s regional network.

Eligible Applicants: The Essor Program

Panorama funding program eligibility:

• For digital transformation projects of $100,000 or more, Quebec companies in all sectors are eligible.
• For projects under $100,000, certain sectors are excluded: primary sector and certain industries such as finance, arts and entertainment, food and beverage (according to ESSOR program criteria).
